Flying Thru Canyons tab.

Postby dyliep on Sun Jun 07, 2009 4:51 am

Here is my first attempt at tabbing something, I know it isn't perfect but it sounds nice played with it.

D7sus4 xx0213
D7 xx0212
Em(2) 079987
D7(2) x57575
C/D7 857575
C#/C x42010
D#6 xx1212
F#(Special) 0977(10thfret)x

G Em C Am D7sus4 D7

I saw you out there, Flying through canyons

G em(2) D7(2) C/D7 G

I end alone, I don't dare imagine

C C#/C D D#6 Em(2) F#(special) G

Then repeat

I realize this tab is ugmo as hell, so for that I am sorry!

Perhaps another poster can help with notation and chord names.

Hi dyliep, sorry I hadn't got back to you sooner, welcome to this side of the board and thanks for posting a tab!

That's a pretty good shot at a tricky song. Now watch as I unintentionally destroy your hard work (not really, just got some questions for you).

1) I love your use of big chords. I was just wondering how you're playing the C/D7 857575, my hand can't do it :(

2) I think the chords for "Anymore" are C, A, D, F#dim (which is still xx1212 - glad you suggested that, I'd have been close minded and gone for B which is wrong I think), D (not sure what you mean by F#(Special) 0977(10thfret)x), G

What're your thoughts?
I has a PhD.
