Had nothing better to do, I used the acoustic Anchortape version. Please correct any mistake I may have made. Enjoy. :)

Francis M. L.

Matterhorn by Jason Lytle.

Normal tuning, no capo.

Em
10 o'clock and her life quit going
C
Wasn't long till it started snowing
G---------------------------------Bm
In the end saw the wind really blowing around

Em
Lone bird on a perch nearby
C
Saw something in her common tide
G------------------------------------------Bm
Then shivered just to bid as she aimed towards the sky

C
Get down that Matterhorn
G
What's wrong with the safe and warm
Em ----------------------------------A
What's wrong with the book and the at night

A pie and a friendless friend
Tears frozen upon descent
Get down that Matterhorn again

There's a handwritten note he wrote
In the pocket of a cold down coat
On the body of the one who's left our world

And in the note there's a love professed
And some apology about some mess
But she won't be reading these words too soon

Get down that Matterhorn
What's wrong with the safe and warm
What's wrong with the book and the at night

Up high in the frightened sky
What's wrong with the quiet night
Get down that Matterhorn again

Good job, the chord you weren't sure on was B minor. Hope you don't mind, I made a couple of (maybe) corrections in the lyrics and added the chords for the second half of the chorus.

Yeah I didn't have my guitar when I wrote the chords, I just realised it was a Bm and not a G. Thanks for the corrected lyrics, I think you got it right.

well the first part is just powerchords as far as i can tell (f maj bar chord). Second part with the cello is nothing but that one riff, and for the You drove your car into a moving train part I have alternating between E and B major. It's really hard to pick out the little stuff because i know there are 2 guitars playing, and I haven't had a chance really pick it apart.
