Postby travis on Tue May 20, 2008 10:21 pm

recently just started using torrents to download instead of limewire...

anyone recommend any good torrent sites?

i've been using pirate bay but i was wondering if there are any other good ones.

i've come across sites like indie torrents but you need an invite... lame.

Hey... I use http://www.mininova.org a lot. Between that and the Pirate Bay there's not much I cannot find.

Also, for US and UK TV torrent cataloguing... try http://www.eztv.it

It links to reliable torrents for all the best TV shows... Lost, Battlestar etc...

I would be interested to hear of any other cool sites I don't know of, though...

My friends use uTorrent or something to that extent.. I don't really torrent myself, so I haven't got a preference, nor any idea on it's actual performance.
But don't worry, you live till you die.

it's performance outshines pretty much any other method of downloading music, tv shows and movies.

the tradersden.org and dimeadozen.org are the two big ones for lossless live unreleased (legal) stuff. tTD is open registration but dime keeps a cap on how many users they accept, but they trim off old accounts multiple times a day so it's relatively easy to sign up if you keep trying.

Sounds good. I might end up getting it sometime. I'm rather lazy though.
