I got a call the other night from a lady at the Gallo Center announcing the cancellation.
Dammit. I was actually going to go.

The whole thing bums me out.

Was finally going to visit Modesto (a place I never thought I'd go), meet a number of the folks here, and see SF for the first time. I know the future of the band is murky - I had hoped this would have been a chance to grieve the magnitude of this year with some like-minded (and equally as affected) fans.

well, we are still going, even though the show is still cancelled, hoping to meet up with few of the grandaddy lads and some other US friends, even though we are there for the week, it will be a nice short visit

So sorry to hear about the cancellations of the shows, but I fully respect the band's decision.

Did any of the Talkscape people meet and hang out in Modesto? I'd like to hear those stories at least.
