My favorite would have to be a mutant.
A combination of a few that Ive already made.

Lets say ... Levitz, The Warming sun, the Crystal Lake, and.... Protected from the rain.

I say this because they are all quite lacking ....though they are still quite special in a "special olympics" kind of way.

There is too much I regret about them (usually due to bad recording methods , or impatient song
writing .....but I cant help loving them.

So someday .....maybe I will sit down with that as a goal .
To make a song (or a few ) that combines all of what I adore about each of those.

that would unreal.

next question:

by the time you go on tour for this album, i will be in iraq.. probably until january 2010. so it wouldn't even matter if you were coming to texas this time around.

so, my question is, post january 2010, do you see yourself touring in texas? that would be awesome.

btw - thanks for answering my questions, jason. the internet makes amazing things possible.
if you plan on asking me for a copy of jason lytle's soon-to-be released ablum, don't waste your time. not gonna happen! have a nice day.

email my management immediately :

geoff@threeam.net

and let him know who you are.

Make sure to give him some specific information about your situation....
like your name , your involvement in Iraq, your history with talkscape , your address...
(just so he knows you are for real)
and I will see that you get a copy of the record before you head out.

I will let him know whats up.

alrighty -then

Jason, what is Joe the Plumber going to think of this owl bum? From what I understand, is name is not on his shirt pocket.

Some shitty park in East LA that has ghetto birds flying over head, crusty nachos on the coping, whole families busting open pinata's in the combi pools... and killer sunsets.

i wish i knew what park you were talking about. Belvedere?

ok, on the subject: which current skater inspires you the most?

joe the plumber will think song 8
has an "Alan Jackson" drumbeat

and song 2 might be something his nephew (who lives in San Jose California) might listen to.

Other than that ....it wont quite be "his thing".
